Seems to have excellent density and a fair bit of height, however there is a lack of focal point, needs to have a landmark to add definition, and more taller buildings.

Ukraine is going in its own architectural direction. During the Soviet times, there were thousands of skilled and talented architects, but their talents were stifled by the Soviet standartization policy. Now that their creativity is free, except interesting things to happen.

Expected more from a city of its size and importance. Extremely blocky and flat with no supertalls to stand out, very little variation among architectural styles, needs to get away from the commie blocks of the Soviet era. Thew new building that's under construction (the nice blue one) looks good though. 6/10.

Kyiv has some nice historical architecture tucked along its many wide tree-lined boulevards, but the appalling modern highrises plopped right next to the nineteenth century houses completely spoil the view. What were they thinking?? 6.5
