Pólo Industrial de Manaus ganhará nova empresa

MANAUS – O Pólo Industrial de Manaus (PIM) ganhará mais uma empresa para atuar no setor de motocicletas a partir de julho de 2008. A Ícone – Indústria, Comércio, Importações e Exportações de Fotocopiadoras terá o investimento de R$ 1,5 milhão. A empresa de origem paulista produz e distribui máquinas copiadoras, toner e ferramentas para usinagem e aposta no crescimento do mercado de motos para ampliar os negócios no país.
A empresa produzirá, no primeiro ano, 20 mil motocicletas com marca própria. De acordo com o sócio-proprietário do grupo Ícone BR, Ricardo Bianchi, a produção da Ícone será focada em motos de baixa potência, consideradas como veículos populares no mercado nacional.

MANAUS – The Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM) will gain one more business to serve in the motorcycle industry as of July 2008. The icon – Industry, Commerce, photocopier Importation, and Exportation will receive R$1.5 million in investments. The company is from São Paulo, producing and distributing copy machines, toner, and tools for power plants and bets on the motorcycle market growth to broaden business in the country.
In the first year, the company will produce 20,000 motorcycles with it’s own brandname. According to the owning partner of the BR Group, Ricardo Bianchi, Icon production will be concentrated on low potential motorcycles considered popular vehicles in the national market.
