The use of street facades resembling BUGIS Street or Hock Lam Street for the interior was first made popular by Peppermint Park at Parkway Parade.

Later this design concept died but recently I notice there is a revival in some night spots.

Anybody remember? Any photos to share?

I remember the East Coast Recreational Centre (now called Marine Cove I think) replicated the old Raffles Place
