Get their Annual Report. See their Expenses/Donations Ratio < 30%. See their Reserves. Dont one pole knock down whole boat of people. Stupid old NKF. Already know something wrong before golden taps issue. I used some public data from their Annual Report to get expenses per dialysis patient. Inflated against actual cost I got from somewhere. Either too little patients or too much expenses. Posted in some forum. Emailed some Opp MPs. Nobody dared to pick it up because scared of NKF defamation suits. In SG, sometimes, only the super rich n powerful can afford to tell the truth...sianz Where there is transparency, harder to lie. shctaw July 18th, 2008, 02:28 AM I prefer to give it to my poorer family members. Lord BB72, really admire you to spend the time and effort to analyze those non-profit organizations. You must be a person who are willing to give, and give to those who are in need! infinity88 July 18th, 2008, 03:17 AM I prefer to give it to my poorer family members. Blood is thicker than watar. I prefer to donate blood than to give money because money can be stolen but nobody will steal blood (I think). In order to continue donating blood, I have to make sure I am healthy. To be healthy, I have to set aside some money to buy Chinese herbs and supplements and do physical exercise. LittlePig July 18th, 2008, 03:57 AM IMHO, i think the title is a little wrong... you don't have to wait till you make money to start donating... for many years, i have been a NKF LifeDrop donor, from before the saga till even after the saga, until i changed my credit card and that is when my monthly donation to NKF was cancelled... i felt that i shouldn't punish the innocent and needy because of one person's/group of cronies' mistakes... for many years, i also make monthly contributions (via credit card) to other charities like Club Rainbow and i also make regular donations to old folk's homes... if i had waited till i made some money, then i would never have started... i donate because no matter how unlucky or poor i felt, i know there are more needy people who are 100 times worst off than me... arthur July 18th, 2008, 05:51 AM After NKF and now Ren Ci... got money keep for oneself.. yesterday straits times reported that police found x-rated dvd in his place that share with 2 other men. what is he up to? i have never failed to donate for ren ci but this really let me down.... cnud July 18th, 2008, 06:24 AM Like I said, there are many things more worthy than money. Reputation is one of them.. shctaw July 18th, 2008, 08:48 AM Benefit of doubt. Maybe they sell DVD to raise fund for Ren Ci.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: yesterday straits times reported that police found x-rated dvd in his place that share with 2 other men. what is he up to? i have never failed to donate for ren ci but this really let me down.... bigbird72 July 18th, 2008, 06:27 PM Benefit of doubt. Well done, Little Pig! :okay::okay: We have been donating to Club Rainbow and Worldvision for years. I used to donate to NKF every month. I remember receiving NKF PR materials in expensive glossy paper and thinking that NKF was using LOTs of money on PR. And there was this news about a golden tap and CEO's peanut pay, etc. After that, I just did not want to give to NKF any more. I hope Club Rainbow does not end up in a mess. |
