It would look more slim and decent without that top, but then it would be boring too.

Yet that top is so obnoxious but it defines the building!

The "architect", the developers and the government officials responsible for approving this project should first be screened for mental problems and if they're found "competent to stand trial", they should be prosecuted for a wide range of criminal offenses from fraudulent graduation records/forged school diplomas, illegally obtained practice licenses to corruption, massive littering, criminal negligence and dereliction of duty.

Only in mainland China can this kind of less-than-worthless garbage buildings become reality.
