The Millender Center, built in 1985, is an apartment/hotel/parking/retail development in the heart of downtown Detroit. It consist of a 33 story apartment tower and a 21 story Marriott Hotel. The entire complex is connected to the Renaissance Center complex via an enclosed skybridge and the Detroit People Mover.

This building isn't that bad, as it looks well built, however brown often looks terrible on buildings; this building demonstrates that point.

Probably one of my least favorite buildings in Downtown, it still holds a place in my heart. (Though, the Edison or Ameritech buildings (Detroit's only prominent glass boxes) won't ever be able to hold that position.;))

The inside is actually pretty nice, and the rent is pretty good considering you're right in the middle of downtown 30 stories up.;)

I don't like it

Good place to be if u want to be in the heart of everything. However, I don't think it adds anything to the skyline. Wish it had been tied-in more closely w/the RenCen. Blue/silver/gray or something and modern would have been more appropriate being right across the street from our tallest bldg.
