Bangldesh is famous for its big hearted people who are known to be generous hosts. they are also famous for their spirit. a few years in a survey by london school of econommics, bangladesh ago was the most happiest nation on the world. i would like to start this thread where we can post pics capturing the spirit of bangladeshi people.

'Happy' means they are content with possessing very little in terms of worldly possessions.

However -- if you go to any halfway 'well-to-do' persons living room in Dhaka, it'll be tough to picture -- with the profusion of split-AC's, LCD TVS, Surround sound stuff etc.

Well-to-do households in the countryside generally now own at least CRT TV's and refrigerators from what I hear. Dramatic change in the last ten years.
