The registrations for the Phase II freehold land sales of the Residential City at Dubai World Central, the 140 sq km urban land project in Jebel Ali, will begin at the 4th International Property Show (IPS), Middle East’s biggest transactional real estate show being held between 17-19 February 2008 at Dubai International Exhibition Centre. Actual land sales for 254 plots ranging from 5,000 to 12,000 sq m will commence next month.
Khalid bin Harib, CEO, Real Estate, Dubai World Central, said, “With the first phase sold out in 2007, generating Dh2.5 billion in sales, the second phase has already garnered over 700 potential customers. We hope to top that interest for registration at the IPS Dubai event”.

Over 184 hectares of land will be available in Phase 2 of Dubai World Central Residential City, the city’s largest phase that will be home to around 53,000 people. Phase 2 will also have 19 plots for mixed-use real estate development while 9 plots are reserved for commercial and public amenities like schools, malls, hotels, health centres, mosques, fuel stations and parks.

Registrations commence for Phase II of DWC Residential City in Dubai
Registrations begin for Phase II of Dubai World Central Residential City
Registrations have begun for Phase II of Residential City at the upcoming Dubai World Central (DWC), a 140-square kilometre urban aviation community adjacent to Al Maktoum International Airport, the world’s largest international airport. The actual sale of 254 plots ranging from 5,000 to 12,000 square metres for real estate development will commence in mid March.
“The DWC real estate proposition is in line with the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 to provide a holistic and affordable living experience to Dubai residents,” said Khalid Bin Harib, CEO, Real Estate, DWC. “DWC Residential City is a project in that direction.”
Phase I of DWC Residential City sold out in 2007 generating Dh2.5 billion in sales. Over 184 hectare of land will be available in Phase II of DWC Residential City – the city’s largest phase – which will be home to around 53,000 people. Land grading work for both phases of Dubai World Central Residential City is complete.

Phase 2 of DWC Residential City at Dubai World Central (DWC), the massive 140 sq km urban land real estate development under construction in Jebel Ali, Dubai goes on sale on 25-26 March, 2008 at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Dubai. Phase 2 covers a total of 140 hectares, the largest among all 5 phases at DWC Residential City that will eventually be home to 53,000 people across 18,000 units.
