The wreckers have demolished several houses to clear a massive plot of land towards the end of the soi.

Does anyone know what is planned here?

i am also interested to know. i used to live on sukhumvit soi 36 and the area is dear to me. is this for some sort of commercial development?

It could be but I would venture to guess it might be yet another serviced apartment complex. It's been over a month already since those houses were knocked out...any condo developer looking to build would have claimed title to that land. BTW, they have kept some nice trees!

They are also in the process of knocking down the shady looking hotel next to Peep Inn.

I guess this land will also be used with the other plots...
