View Full Version : Sub-forum thread title changes:
Noostairz February 24th, 2008, 07:53 PM in case anyone was wondering about the changes, i've been working with wjfox to tidy the sub-forum titles up, give them a bit more info, make it a bit more organised, like the other forums. we've only just started this process, so if any of you notice any inaccuracies, or status changes, that kind of thing, stick them here so we can verify it, and get it sorted.
:okay:
blahblah March 7th, 2008, 10:29 AM For the Silverstone thread. Status is currently proposed, and hasn't gone in for any planning permission yet (as far as I can see from the local council's website.) Proposals include, new pits, paddock, grandstands, technology park, hotels, offices, and housing. Capacity is currently around 90,000
Silverstone | New Pitlane, Paddock, and Grandstands | 90,000 | Proposed ?

dronkula March 13th, 2008, 12:19 AM Now that construction has started in Stratford (even if it is just a big hole in the ground) any chance of splitting the London 2012 thread and making it's own subforum so that we can quickly see how things are progressing with specific projects without having to wade through all the 'Oh god! they're ahead of schedule! it's a disgrace! It'll never last and it's a huge waste of money that should be spent on Manchester/Birmingham/My mums garden shed' posts?
We really need seperate threads for the Stadium, Aquatics Centre, Velodrome, Media Centre as well as a 'general' thread for everything else.

Scarecrow June 23rd, 2008, 05:49 PM Wht is the new Everton stadium listed as Kirkby, instead of Liverpool or Knowsley, when Old Toilet is listed as Manchester instead of Trafford? Nobody in the real world knows where Kirkby is. :)
Noostairz June 23rd, 2008, 08:15 PM you're right, we should change manchester to trafford. :D
won't it be in kirkby though? just to be more specific and give everything a bit of consistency we've been listing under town/city name rather than borough/county, so that rules out knowsley, and if we stuck it as liverpool then we'd get loads of people saying it's not in liverpool it's in kirkby. actually fcuk it, we'll just list it as vegas. :okay:

Thanks. Hate to tell you this, but they've added 5,000 grandstand seats for this year. So capacity is now 95,000 (seated.)
I won't mind if the thread title isn't changed though!
Schmeek July 11th, 2009, 08:29 PM Hi there.
Don't know if this is necesary, but was wondering if the Bristol City FC thread should be changed to 'Pending planning permission' rather than 'proposed' now that PP has been filed?
Cheers.
Noostairz July 26th, 2009, 06:03 PM just submitted a list of updates to will, including that.
wjfox July 28th, 2009, 09:43 PM ^^ All done. The Bristol stadium thread doesn't need changing though (?). It's already proposed.
Schmeek July 29th, 2009, 02:10 PM Ok. Just wasn't sure if needed changing or not. cheers.
Schmeek July 29th, 2009, 06:09 PM Oh and forgot to mention can we delete Charlie's new thread about Glos county cricket ground, as no need for two.

blahblah June 5th, 2010, 09:08 AM Can the Silverstone thread be updated? Total capacity is 160,000+. The Arena Circuit Layout Modifications are complete and the new pitlane & paddock complex is now well under construction.
Thanks!
Technicalities June 5th, 2010, 10:12 PM Also, the new Brighton & Hove Albion stadium is 22,500 capacity, not 22,000.
Cheers.
Moosejuice June 27th, 2011, 10:18 PM Can the Wolverhampton molineux redevelopment thread in cultural and sporting venues be updated from preplanning to under construction.
