CEB passenger traffic up by 38%
Takes pride in increase of monopoly routes in 2009

Cebu Pacific (CEB), Asia’s third largest low cost carrier, is all set to reach its 9 million passenger mark for 2009.

With a 38 percent increase in passenger volume during the first six months of 2009, CEB spokesperson Candice Iyog said that CEB is very close to meeting its target, especially with the removal of fuel surcharge for domestic and international flights in January this year.

“We are also proud that we opened up a lot of routes this year that only Cebu Pacific flies to. This strengthens our market leadership as we provide new routes and more convenient air travel to a lot of Filipinos across the country,” she added.

She cited flights from Cebu to Legazpi and Siargao as great examples. “We are the only airline flying between the Visayas and the Bicol region. Likewise, we are also the fastest way to Siargao, the surfing capital of the Philippines.”

The lowest Go Lite fares for Legazpi and Siargao from Cebu is P1,188. Passengers with check-in luggage will just add P200 to the fare.

Other monopoly routes are Cebu to Roxas, Cotabato, Dumaguete, Clark, Puerto Princesa, and Surigao. CEB is also the only airline to fly from Manila to Cauayan and from Davao to Iloilo and to Cagayan de Oro.

Most of these routes started this year, and has collectively flown almost 100,000 passengers during the first six months of 2009.

Passengers can book their flights through www.cebupacificair.com or the reservations hotlines (02)70-20-888 and (032)230-88-88.

Gokongwei-owned CEB has flown over 36 million passengers since its inception in 1996. It now flies to 32 domestic destinations and 14 Asian cities from four hubs, utilizing the youngest aircraft fleet in the Philippines.

Mostly everyone i know thinks that it's a very impractical idea. Considering i already have a good future waiting for me over here. They feel like i would only be wasting my time in the Philippines. However, I believe that if I dont make this decision i feel like i will be unhappy for the rest of my life. I'm hoping that I'm not all words and actually do something for the country, especially for the province that i grew up in. Besides, i will be doing this for my "future" children, and my nephews and nieces. I'm pretty sure that there's many young people like me out there. I'm hoping that someday, Filipino's will go outside the country not for the intention of improving their lives, but for the purpose of enjoying the scenery of other countries:).

1. improvement of our transport facilities: improvement of our airport and more sea going vessels
2. support for the tourism industry
3. improvement of our electrical system: installation of concrete electric posts around the city
4. strict implementation of the proper zoning and land use in the city
5. strict implementation of our solid waste management
6. less politics
7. more incentives to attract investors
8. less tricycles along the national highways
9. give attention to illegal and dynamite fishing
10. make way for bigger malls

No update on that. I wasn't even aware she was having a meeting with him. Supposedly, the economy is settling down. What's the progress of a possible Charter Change in the Philippines? Do you think it's going to happen?

There is global economic crisis nowadays, but with the great effort of President Philippine Economy does not affected in a way....i mean our economy is stable and strong compare to other nations specially in Asia.....Cha-Cha still remains hot issue in the lower house......most of the people from countryside in favor of Constitutional Change however, many of them are doubtful maybe GMA will also take the seat as Prime Minister if the constitution finally amend .... in my point of view I am not against GMA to become our Prime Minister if ever because she is a very hard working leader, very determined and has strong leadership....I hope dili ako bombahan nan ato mga friends dinhi :lol::lol::lol:

Good Times Manila sat down with Philippine Basketball Association player James Yap, more popularly known as the husband of television personality Kris Aquino, for an exclusive interview about their marriage recently.

In the tell-all interview, Yap revealed intimate details about life with Aquino, showbiz talk show and reality show host and occasional actress, as well as her son Josh with former flame, Philip Salvador, and their own firstborn, Baby James.

The full transcript of the interview follows:

GTM (Good Times Manila): How are you as a family now?
JY (James Yap): Okay po kami. Kami nina Kris, Josh, Baby James… Masaya po kami.
GTM: How is Kris Aquino as a wife?
JY: Napakabuti po nyang asawa. Wala po akong masabi.
GTM: What do you usually talk about?
JY: Marami po. Lagi kaming naguusap tungkol sa mga damit nya, make-up nya, shoes nya, yung shows nya, yung mga old movies nya, yung skin products nya, endorsements nya, yung hair nya… Marami po talaga…
GTM: What about you? Do you also talk about your interests, like your basketball career?
JY: Ha? Ah, eh, minsan po…

GTM: Do you eat together as a family?
JY: Ha? E bawal po.

JY: Ah, eh, naku, aksidente lang naman po. Nahagis nya lang po yung tinidor, pero napalakas kaya bumaon sa leeg ko.

JY: Hindi naman po umabot sa ugat… Nagsorry po ako at pinatawad naman nya ako. Mabait po sya talaga…

JY: May parusa po.

JY: After three days nilagyan nya po ng mabigat na Bible ang mga kamay ko.

A recorded phone conversation allegedly between ABS-CBN top actors Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby has been leaked to Good Times Manila by an anonymous source.

The alleged phone conversation, believed to have occurred one night last week, appeared to indicate that the popular stars are still good friends despite the controversy that used to hound them.

In the alleged conversation, Pascual and Milby engage in small talk about their respective career, and are even heard doing simultaneous “sit-ups” together to kill time.

Pascual will star opposite KC Concepcion on the upcoming remake of the Korean series “Lovers in Paris,” while Milby is seen nightly on “Only You” along with Angel Locsin and Diether Ocampo. He is also set to star in the movie “And I Love You So” with Bea Alonzo and Derek Ramsay.

GTM has consulted a sound engineer to determine the authenticity of the audio file. An update will follow on the results of the authentication process. Meanwhile, portions of the transcript of the alleged conversation are reproduced below:

Good Times Manila has obtained a full transcript of an alleged phone conversation between GMA-7 stars Marian Rivera and rumored boyfriend Dingdong Dantes.

The transcript, along with an audio file of the purported phone conversation, was submitted to GTM by an anonymous contributor who said he wanted to reveal the “true nature” of their relationship.

Neither Rivera nor Dantes has publicly admitted they are in an intimate relationship, although they are often seen being sweet to each other.

But the popular onscreen couple are going their separate ways: Rivera is set to star in yet another remake of the Mars Ravelo series “Darna,” while Dantes will play the lead male in yet another Korean series remake, “Stairway to Heaven.”
