I like this design that they are building. I also like the building which is behind these two underconstruction towers. I went to Shenzhen earlier on this year and remembering seeing this tower for the first time , kind of reminds me of Shanghai Finance Tower in some areas

these are the two shorter ones at around 200 meters. The main building is still at foundation

It is along the main boulevard Shennan Dadao, the nearest metro station is Chegongmiao, about 250m from the site.

The Merchant's Bank Building is, personally, one of my favorite buildings in Shenzhen (two others being the New World Center and 财富大厦). I think many people in Shenzhen would say the same.

This is why even though I like the design of the East Pacific Center, I feel its close distance to the Merchant's Bank Building will dominate the Che Gong Miao Skyline in a bad way. If East Pacific Center was just off of the Shennan Ave axis, or perhaps farther down the road in Zhuzilin, I would be much more excited about this project. Unfortunately, where it stand now, I think Che Gong Miao is getting subtraction by addition.

^^ i guess so from a building perspective, (IMO i think they will complement each other) but from a skyline perspective it better to have a more cohesive skyline which is an issue with Shenzhen. Buildings like the Merchant's Bank Building, Kingkey 100, and Shin Heng Sq dominate the skyline way too much. I think the East Pacific Center and a bunch of other 200m+ buildings will remedy this.
