I went to Toronto last April. Bar none my favorite city on the planet. Even the snow didn't keep me from loving every minute of being there. I took some photos that you might enjoy. Unfortunately, I only have a small Xd card. Hopefully I'll have time to get a bigger one before I go to Chicago Tuesday.

Anywho, pictures!

The CN tower, which was still the tallest free-standing structure while I was there. What a shame.

Some of these interior shots get rather blurry. My Fujifilm Finepix A360 doesn't have image stabilization, and I can't hold a camera still to save my life.

I'll end with my favorite shot from my trip to Toronto. This was on the steps leading up to Casa Loma.

Not the greatest quality, but I hope you enjoyed them anyway.

Thanks for the tour. I always like a Toronto thread. I need to make it up there sometime. BTW that glass floor in the CN Tower is scary as SHIT looking. Just looking at the photograph of you standing on it made me feel like falling over (if that makes any sense).

Glad you enjoyed our city! I still feel queasy stepping on the glass floor of the CN Tower... your brain tells you it is safe, but your body is screaming at you that you are a fool!! :D

Your welcome. Toronto is a really great city, and I do plan to move there when I'm finished with school.

The glass floor is cool. I was a little dissappointed though, it's only a small section of floor. I really liked the little observation floor, the one up top that you have to take a second elevator to get to. You can really feel the tower sway up there.

Casa Loma was cool too. Whoever thunk that there would be a castle in the middle of Canada's biggest city?

BTW, I used either public transportation there or I walked. I must say, you guys have an awesome transit network in Toronto. Very clean too.

Funny to see someone from the States who is crazy at a Toronto, it is just a smaller version of New York City! Anyway, if not NYC, I would choose Toronto in NA.

Great pix. However, Toronto is nothing like NYC at all.

There are some similarities, but both cities have their own character.

I agree, Toronto is THE greatest city in the world! :)

And I also agree that Toronto and New York are two very, very different cities that have little in common with one another.

Great pix. However, Toronto is nothing like NYC at all.

Who ever said they were the same?

I know to visit New York would be first on my list but if I had to pick one to make home and settle down in -- Toronto would come first. Something about its streetscapes looks so familiar and inviting.
