According to some reports Birmingham City Council have sold the site of the Indoor markets for £200 Million, if you were in charge of the money how would you spend it?

metro extention?
new Library?
Swiss Bank account?

I think I'd be gung ho and put £200,000,000 on red at the casino.

Failing that I'd spend it on the Superprix, alcohol & women and whatever's left over I would just waste.

£65 million on transport and infrastructure, £65million on education & learning, £65 million on cultural & sporting projects, £5 million media & marketing

I'd give the city a nice makeover... Like "Changing Rooms" but outside as well as in. Grass, sparkley cladding and external lifts everywhere. Imagine Handy Andy sorting out the cladding on Alpha Tower, for instance :happy:

Ooo, firstly, buy a Lambourgini, then give to the poor, then make villa park water tight, fill it with water, and make it into two 50m swimming pools. :banana:

Then we could build a "proper" library, in the style of the old one, in Chamberlain square and rebuild mason college building as well.

Then build a 500m tower in the middle of Lancaster Circus. :banana::cheers:

Nah but seriously, If I had 200 million.... I would buy my own recording studio (designed by a Starchitect, of course), set up my own Label, and leave enough to get by on for the substantial future incase nobody likes my music lol. It would be the best job in the world.
