Cool pics, hkskyline. Just out of curiousity, do people from Hong Kong consider these areas to be suburban? If so, what is it about them that is considered suburban, since in most other parts of the world this would be considered pretty urban? Is it that it's almost all residential, with little commercial areas?

These areas are considered suburban since they're located in the outlying areas, although it is now about a 30-40 minute subway ride into the city.

TKO started off as mostly a public housing city with cheaper homes for the lower classes. The fact that they were provided housing was enough to satisfy them. However, in recent years some private housing has appeared, located in better parts of town (ie. with a waterfront view). That being said, TKO is considered one of the denser suburbs, and is not considered a top example of quality of life.
