Doris Salcedo Shibboleth, a Colombian Artist, created a long, snaking crack across the vast length of the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern Museum. It is very disconcerting when you first see it, then you realize her artistic intentions were to strike at the foundations of the museum. What is art? It certainly takes you by surprise and makes you think...

Apparently about 20 people have injured themselves by falling partly down the crack:nuts:
