So, you heard the result of the recent election. Apparently, some of us decided that these states (Kedah, Penang, Perak and Selangor) should have a new government and there you have it, new state government.

Kedah-PAS
Penang-DAP
Perak-PAS (should have been DAP since they got the most seats)
Selangor-PKR

3 out 4 states of NCER region were handed to the Opposition. To me, Penang is actually is good hand. I actually like Lim Guan Eng and the fact that he was one of the earliest CM/MB to go into the office and start working. He already explained some of his plans for Penang which I think made the citizens very convince with him leadership. As for Kedah, well, Azizan Abd. Razak is putting up his picture all over Alor Star, congratulate himself. Perak I dont know. Selangor is already a developed state so no problem I guess.

Kedah does have alot of mega projects like Yan's petroleum refining industry, Kuala Kedah waterfront city, Langkawi as health tourism spot etc.

So my question is what can you predict or hope for these states under these new opposition state government?

Wrong!

Perak is in good hands. It'll be a mixed government running the show.

The correct listing would be:

Kedah-PAS
Penang-DAP
Perak-DAP.PAS.PKR
Selangor-PKR

All these years BN has been leeching on Perak but we get nothing most of the time?

What condition/state is Ipoh in today?

So buzz off UMNO cybertrooper. It doesn't make any difference if Perak is under BN or the new BA coalition. We have been out of your development list for years and we're just sick of it.

^^^ Thanks for correcting me.

Yes, I kinda noticed Perak's lack of mega projects and development. Havent heard any from Perak since the last few years. Anyway, do you expect any improvement (or can they bring any improvement) to the state since it is now on mixed government?

I think the mixed government is good. At least we could say Perak is not truly Malay, Chinese or Indian state, but a Malaysian state. Seriously, all this years my mom, born in Ipoh herself admits that perhaps BN punish Ipoh/Perak for being a stronghold of DAP by depriving the state of strategic development except for Proton City and UTP which IMO is skewed to benefit/strengthen one race rather than the whole of Perakians/Malaysians. She says few things changed all these years in Perak although Perak have perhaps produced tons of smart Malaysians now residing overseas!!!

I hope to see changes in Perak soon as we have already been left out in the mainstream developments...all the best to the new state government
