Thanks for the pics, I've never seen images of this city before.
Like in Porto and Lisbon the oldtown looks very nice.

Btw: This should go to 'Cityscapes and Skyline Photos'. Urban Showcase is only for your own pics.

I don't care who is bigger or smaller, i just care about the true and you are lying.

- You are saying metropolitan area of Coimbra have a population of 500 000.

- When Coimbra district have in fact not more than 450 000 hab in 3 947 km².

- This gives a 112/km² density for a metropolitan area.

- We all can see in this next image the size Coimbra district comparing with Portugal map.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/96/LocalDistritoCoimbra.svg/200px-LocalDistritoCoimbra.svg.png

- To conclude, what ruben.briosa is trying to say, is all that red zone in the map is the "metropolitan area of Coimbra".

- Anyone agree with him?

------------
PS: I'm not from Braga, but i will reply with your own arguments:

Metropolitan Area of Braga
- Population: 831 368 (2x more)
- Area: 2 673 km² (1.5x smaller)
- Density: 311/km² (3x more than Coimbra)

Nice pics and a nice town...but...

This section is to present self made images of urban settings, this to distinguish from the general Cityscapes and Skyline Photos in which all urban images can be posted. Enjoy.
