Hey people,
I was wondering if full-height platform screen doors were possible for high speed rail lines stations. Are PSDs strong enough to stand the wind blast from trains?

In some places theres truns running a 220km/h or higher past high platforms ... usualy 300 km/h stations are passed thru some inner "platformless" direct lines ... the platforms being on segregated "safe" lines outside the mainline. :ohno:

Judging from the experiences with the windscreens along some HSR lines it could easily cause some troubles. They have to be very solid to withstand the forces from the wind that the trains that are passing the station with 300 km/h generate. I wouldn't be surprised if a design for such a PSD would just be to heavy to be practical.
