Client : Kuwait University.
Services Performed : Detailed Architectural and all Engineering Design and Construction Supervision.
Cost : KD 107.0 million.
Completion : 2012.

Project Data:
Site Area : 78,050 sq.m.
Building Area : 275,000 sq.m.
Basements : 8050 sq.m.
Population : 9850 students, faculty and support staff.
No. of floors : 6 floors + Ground floor.
Parking : 1200 cars.


Gulf Consult in joint venture with Cambridge Seven Associates of Boston have been commissioned to design this new college comprising of the following departments:

¤ Architecture.
¤ Chemical Engineering.
¤ Civil Engineering.
¤ Computer Engineering.
¤ Electrical Engineering.
¤ Industrial Engineering and Management Systems.
¤ Mechanical Engineering.
¤ Petroleum Engineering.
¤ New/Future Academic
Departments.

The College of Engineering and Petroleum is designed as part of the New University City being developed by Kuwait University at Shadadiyah.

The Architectural Concept and Preliminary Design has been carried out by Cambridge Seven Associates, while Gulf Consult has responsibility for all detailed Architecural and Engineering Design, Cost Control and Tender Documentation. Specialist laboratory advice provided by Earl Walls Associates.

its nice, simple, it looks retro in daylight, amazing at night.
