This area (Downtown) has been HEAVILY gentrified now, once a downtrodden bastion of grit and despair, the area is now teeming with many trendy cafes, yuppies and $8.00 coffee shops.

Enjoy!

I always had the perception that Culver City was shitty place. Thanks for dispeling those misconceptions.

Culver City is a huge but largely undersung media center :) http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee192/trolltoast/SonyStudio28.jpg

:) I ate at Tender Greens (shown in one of your photos) a couple of days ago. You actually show the table I was sitting at.

I love downtown Culver City and a lot of Washington blvd. It holds one of my favorite local indian food places, to a cafe I go to a lot, to inglewood/culver where I grew up going to the liquor store. Haha. Culver City is a great city.

Can you imagine what all the trains looked like criss-crossing in the downtown Culver City area? Man, I wish Culver City would build their own trolley or something.

Expo Line will bring trains back to Culver City!

A lot of other people must either have that same perception, or they just forget that Culver City's there. I always hear people say, "You gotta stay north of the 10. Anything south of that is dangerous," and I'm always thinking, What about Culver City???
