View Full Version : Wanted: Pictures and data of Ebino VLF transmitter and former

Has someone pictures and more information of Ebino VLF transmitter and the former OMEGA-transmitter at Shushi-Wan ( 34° 36' 53" N, 129° 27' 13" E)?
The mast of latter station is 389 metres tall and insulated against ground, but from both transmitters no pictures are available. Does someone know how tall the masts of Ebino VLF transmitter are and when were they built?

It was completed in 1991 and is used to communicate with submarines.

According to another source from a Japanese forum the transmitter consists of 8 steel masts placed in a interval of 550m giving the antenna a total length of 1650m.I can't find anything on the hight of the masts.
