Melbourne had one across the Maribyrnong River on route 57, but it's been replacced, & I don't have a photo.

There are a lot of tram-only over road bridges (or vice versa) in Melbourne, & even a tram-only under heavy rail bridge at Melbourne Zoo.

In Vancouver we have three bridges for our SkyTrain rapid transit system that are not shared with cars.

SkyBridge was the first and it is the longest transit-only bridge in the world at 616 metres (source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skybridge_%28TransLink%29)). The SkyTrain Expo Line uses this bridge.

The North Arm Bridge and the Middle Arm Bridge will both enter service in mid- to late-2009 as part of the new SkyTrain Canada Line.

Welll ... not quite right I'm afraid:

The São Luis Bridge is a double bridge (has 2 levels) ... while the upper level was renewed to allow the "metro do porto" to cross the douro river ... the LOWER level still has road usage so ...

Anyway ... here are some pictures:

And by the way ... acording to the latest SSC specialists findings the "Metro do Porto" is nor a TRAM nor a METRO nor a SUBWAY nor a COMUTER nor a ... go figure it out what it is.

This is a new bridge built just 500m inland ... the road traffic was deviated from the upper level to here.

Too many bridges ??? 2 highway (1 not shown/behind the picture) + 2 road + 1 metro/tram + 1 railway + 1 railway(inoperative)

There are TOO MANY pictures of the bridge in the internet:

Also an original one: Le Mans (France): "the X shape bridge" ("le Pont en X").
One of the branch was for the regional steam trams and the other one for the electric city tram. It has been demolished in the 50'. Fortunately the tram came back this year in Le Mans.

Nowadays it's only for the tram, not for water. The tram is from 1890 or so.

Amazing. How could they demolish something like this! By the way, is that another bridge under it, or is it just a reflection?

In fact it has been bombed in 1944 during WWII.

In Ostend, a city at the North Sea, in Flanders, the Dutch speaking part of Belgium. The Coastal Tramway rides trough this city.

-The 4 tram rails with a train rail in between.

The São Luiz Bridge has been for cars and buses in the past. It was adapted to receive the Porto Metro trains.
