Allen Center is a 3.1 million square foot Class "A" office complex in downtown Houston consisting of One Allen Center (34 floors; 993,297 sf), Two Allen Center (36 floors; 995,625 sf) and Three Allen Center (50 floors; 1,194,719 sf). In addition to the first class office space, Allen Center offers a multitude of amenities that define the development as the pre-eminent mixed-use complex in Houston. Situated on the western perimeter of downtown Houston, Allen Center offers unparalleled access to the freeway system and breathtaking views of the suburban landscape. Allen Center is also the only downtown development that incorporates a significant amount of green space into the common area plazas. Allen Center is served by the extensive downtown tunnel system and is adjacent to numerous Metro bus and downtown trolley stops. The amenities include the 130,000 square foot Metropolitan Business and Sports Club, the Doubletree Hotel, the Court at Allen Center (food court) and six different full-service banking facilities. Additionally, The Forum, a 70-seat, theatre-style conference center is available for the tenants' use for large meetings. Convenient and abundant parking is one of Allen Center’s most prominent features. A total of 5,600 spaces are available in the Allen Center and Met Garages, along with three V.I.P. basement garages under each one of the office towers.

The colours are dull and ugly, but the shape of the building is certainly more inspiring than the common box.

Very average facade, and the colour is rather dull.

The shape is okay, but could perhaps do with being a little slimmer.

Brown, international-style buildings are normally a recipe for a disaster but there's something about this one. Somehow it manages to be chocolate instead of brown and the simple yet nicely proportioned shape is pleasing to the eye and blends well in the surroundings.
Tasteful, if uninspired.
