Τέλος Μαΐου συμπληρώνεται ένα εξάμηνο από τότε που ανέλαβα καθήκοντα moderator. Η θητεία μου σταματά εδώ. Σας ευχαριστώ όλους για τη βοήθεια, τη συμπαράσταση και τις αντιπαραθέσεις.

Θα ήθελα όσοι ενδιαφέρονται να αναλάβουν καθήκοντα moderator να εκδηλώσουν ενδιαφέρον από τώρα, ώστε η μετάβαση να γίνει το συντομότερο δυνατό και με ομαλό τρόπο.

Η διαδικασία που θα ακολουθήσουμε θα είναι δημοκρατική, όπως και πριν, αλλά τεχνικά τον τελευταίο λόγο τον έχουν οι Euromods.

he created this thread cause i believe sometime ago we all decided that every six months or one year we gonna change mods in H.A,however if everyone agrees i would suggest Metroguardian be the mod for six more months at least-i really think he did a great job.Of course if anyone in H.A would like to be a mod he has the right to do so and announce it in this thread.Correct?

Metroguardian should be granted a further 6 months as moderator. He has done an outstanding job.

I don't see the point in replacing a successful moderator with someone new, given metroguardian's limited tenure as moderator.

I vote for an extension to Metro's 6 month term, no need for another poll so soon.

Metroguardian has by far been the best we had here. He was elected by the participants through transparent processes and served the forum with utter respect for others' opinions, even if he had to take some measures to restore order in cases.

Without creating any frictions, albeit subjected to the usual pressures created in a multicultural and multinational communication environment, he managed to administer his tasks with utter prudence, respect for others' opinions, unbiased judgment in making decisions, receptivity to other people's views, moderate and impartial communication style and without needing to brig or ban half the participants, to gain recognition or respect, or to restore order. He has been an excellent communicator and facilitator and I personally thank him for the time and effort put in this forum.

Consequently, this has been the most frictionless period in the Hellenic Agora even though we may have had our differences in opinions and attitudes. Plus, the re-organization of the HA's structure proved also to be successful.

I fully and openly support his candidature for modship for many more consecutive terms here. He deserves it.

Metro, έχεις κάνει υποδειγματική δουλειά. Οχi μόνο στη δομή και το περιεχόμενο, αλλά kai στο γενικό κλίμα του forum. Είχε και παλιότερα τεθεί το θέμα ενός βοηθού, αλλά δεν προχώρησε. Μήπως αυτό θα βοηθούσε?

I was informed that MetroGuardian will not be able to fully moderate Hellenic Agora and i was offered the position ,which i accepted.
I don't know the exact reasons for MetroGuardian's absence or if he'll still be a moderator as well but i'm here to help the forum in any way possible.
The forum is running properly and if someone has any suggestions,objections or anything to say,feel free to do so.

Hi SouthernEuropean, above all congratulations my friend, however I hope there will be a shared moderation along with MetroGuardian as he's a great moderator.

It would be nice SouthernEuropean that you keep the same policies as Metro, either regarding the functioning structure of the forum as well as its format.

Of course just to remind,as gm2263 pointed out,that in Hellenic Agora each member's opinion is really important.We all make decisions together.I'm just here to help in technical stuff and in general moderating the forum-and of course i'm open to any suggestions.I also wanted to let you know that since everyone's happy with our current <<system>> in H.A we just keep going the same way we always do.But of course remember:we all make decisions together.

Εμένα πάντως δεν με πειράζει καθόλου που δεν έγινε ψηφοφορία,εξάλλου για να σου πρότειναν την θέση οι διαχειριστές κάτι ξέρουν..και φυσικά και όλα τα μέλη στην Ελληνική Αγορά βλέπουν πως δεν είσαι ένα οποιοδήποτε μέλος και το αναγνωρίζουν οπότε δεν χρειάζεται να μπαίνουμε σε διαδικασίες ψηφοφορίας κτλ. :)

Μεγάλε νάσαι καλά να σε χαιρόμαστε. Άντε μπας και ξυπνήσω και δημοσιεύσω καμιά φωτογραφία, πολύ στην ξάπλα τόχω ρίξει μου φαίνεται...
