+1.
I am guessing it would cost next to nothing to replace those with something more contemporary and a darn sight more attractive.

bhargavsura January 10th, 2011, 10:57 PM Great close ups man.
dhim100 January 11th, 2011, 06:42 AM Damn, even after spending a few million $s for a unit you don't get a central A/C. That sucks.
Bombay Boy January 11th, 2011, 10:03 AM individual units is probably more efficient and more convenient in case of a breakdown
Illusionist January 11th, 2011, 05:50 PM this building is occupied right. yesterday i was in mumbai and saw most of the lights on.
World8115 January 11th, 2011, 05:53 PM Its Mumbai. Everything is occupied here ;)
Bombay Boy January 12th, 2011, 04:45 AM south tower has some occupants
north tower does not. most of the building is still not ready
Cov Boy January 12th, 2011, 02:19 PM Excellent shots!
The close up of the exterior is amazing & so is the quality.
I like the way the AC is hidden away so they dont ruin the asthetics of the towers.
What is all the blue fencing around the building? Another building?
dhim100 January 13th, 2011, 03:54 AM individual units is probably more efficient and more convenient in case of a breakdown
I guess practically that makes sense but that's just unheard of in this part of the world especially in the buildings which were built after 70-75. Even the old rickety rental apartments have central a/c in them.

Heh, just be happy people aren't hanging them out their windows. I'm sure laundry is bound to appear though.
BTW, do you have an example of an old rickety apartment with central AC?
dhim100 January 13th, 2011, 05:00 AM BTW, do you have an example of an old rickety apartment with central AC?
Well you live in Austin, just pay a visit to any old apartment building in a crappy part of town. There are good chances that they will have a central a/c in the apartment unit.

Well, I have yet to see one in NJ. There are so many old apartment buildings in north jersey but never seen one with central a/c. Even I have lived in two different highrise buildings in the past but no central a/c there neither.

Thats true! I live in a pretty old condo - no external A/Cs!! No hanging laundries either - despite the fact its crawling with desis!! :D

i went to nyc
most apartments there even in posh areas like Greenwich village and Chelsea actually share washing machines.
So I guess each country has its own little quirks.
The flats in imperial are big and I expect them to dry their clothes inside.

Cov Boy January 14th, 2011, 02:23 PM Amazing pictures, awesome building.

Bombay Boy January 15th, 2011, 09:43 PM I wouldn't like to stand in a balcony so high

taller the better September 23rd, 2011, 11:28 AM Absolutely stunning!! Great shots.. this building really is finished and styled very well and good to know that many more of this calibre and better and in the pipeline for South/Central Bombay in the coming years.
hshah September 23rd, 2011, 01:07 PM Awesome shots.
This building looks prettier every time you see it!!
taller the better September 24th, 2011, 07:35 AM Also the fact that the entire face is clad and not painted gives it an even better more neater look.. Paint jobs in the city start to look worn out pretty quickly. So this is great. More builders should consider skipping textured paint and clad the entire building, even if residential.
