Milton is a CBD-fringe office area, with a weave of light commercial retail companies. Nearly all of the larger buildings around 'Edge Apartments' and along the river front are office buildings.

Milton is also home to the XXXX brewery complex. Its centrepiece the large orange brick bldg to the lower right of the image

By the way that is a fantastic image of this part of Brisbane.

I remember reading about this tower a few weeks back but I wasn't sure of its location. I'm always waiting to see what the design for the 10 storey hotel in the vacant site just to the left of Edge Apartments will look like.

Courier Mail today reports that 25 out of the 72 apartments in Milton Edge, which is being developed by Australand Properties, are already under contract with a total sales value of more than $10 million (an average price of more than $400,000).

Site clearing for this one is just about finished. Expect they are getting ready for an early new year start for construction proper.

With this tower and others similar to it going up in the area, traffic on coro drive and milton road is going to be terrible in the years to come. Is anyone aware of any potential projects to fix this problem?

As for the tower, not too bad. And good pics!
