I love Vejle.

Or... I've never been there, but everytime I go to Århus either by train or car I'm very impressed. I love the hills of the city and the surrounding area. It looks quite urban too, judging from the train station anywho.

More pictures would be very welcome :)

In af height of 25 meters
The white building in the middel is Hotel Australia, the oldest highrise i Jylland, from 1957
The one to the left is Den hvide Facet the newest highrise in Jylland
And the one that is being build is one of De fem Søstre, it had stil 3 floors to go ind the picture. A lokalplan is being made for a 11 floors building right beside Den hvide facet.
Wel thats that... "I got to skrew down the ekspertations" with my english and my computerskills.

What is your favorit skyline-city?
I hate the ones with highrise buildings standing all over the place with no kind of planing.
Like Århus were Prismet and Langenæs is standing to far for itother.
My favorit is Dallas because of the nice design of the buildings and the colors of the class. Atlanta and Houston is also on my mind. But Houston has not many eksiting buildings its to traditional.

The first of De fem søstre is now almost finish. The crain is being moved to the next highrise in the project.
And a part of the river beside De fem søstre is being moved into the area beside the five new highrise buildings.

A new project, where Vejle postoffice is placed today, is taking its shape. Steen & Strøm is preparing a project called the Pyramids. The new library and democrat center will be placed there. That all we know by now.

One or two hotels is being planned in Havneparken and Havnepladsen in Vejle. That is right beside Den hvide facet.

The projekt Spinderihallerne is started. Here busines will meet creativity and culture in the "Richard Florida way".

All projects are being build in the Vejle skyline area (exept Spinderihallerne). And also the vision highrise building called "ægget" is moved from Bulevarden to the parking lot of region syddanmark on Damhaven in the skyline area.

Any pics of the development? Sounds like there's alot going on there:)

Vejles højeste hus kan blive resultatet af en lokalplan, der blev vedtaget endeligt af byrådet i aftes. Planen for et område mellem Horsensvej og Ellehammersvej på Nørremarken baner vej for et byggeri i op til 15 etager - i alt 62 meter. Kravene til et eventuelt byggeri bliver store. I planen slås fast, at da højhuset bliver det første på Horsensvej, kommer det til at sætte standarden for kommende byggeri. Derfor vil der blive lagt stor vægt på udformning og valg af materialer. At Vejle, there is at 55° 40′ 28.9″ N, 9° 30′ 7.8″ E a telecommunication tower of concrete. Has someone pictures?

The building will be finish in the fall of 2011.
