Since it's apparently okay to start a thread about highrises, which don't have a detailed construction blueprint available yet I thought I would create a few threads to document possible future highrises in Copenhagen and surrounding areas. To quote another debater "Where there are threads there is hope". If the details change in the future we can always get a mod to correct the thread to reflect the facts.

The master plans for the re-development of the former industrial Carlsberg site on the border of the boroughs of Kongens Enghave, Frederiksberg and Valby contains proposals for a dozen highrises to mark important public gathering spaces. Most of them are proposed to have a height of a 100 metres but at least one will be a landmark for the site and reach 130 metres in height.

The plans are currently in the initiation phase of being turned into a local planning document for the area.

The following sketches are available for the area:

You can read more about the state of the municipality's planning process for the area here (http://planogarkitektur.kk.dk/Byplanl%C3%A6gning/Startredeg%C3%B8relser/Carlsberg.aspx) or in national daily newspaper Berlingske here (http://www.berlingske.dk/article/20071116/danmark/111161405/).

Also, the location of the area can be viewed on Google Maps here (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=pasteursvej,+copenhagen&sll=55.666482,12.539243&sspn=0.008992,0.028667&ie=UTF8&ll=55.656285,12.497292&spn=0.071955,0.22934&z=13).

While I think it's perfectly okay to open threads about master plands etc., I think you're being a bit childish here in trying (I take it) to prove a point. Starting 3 threads with "Since it's apparently okay to start a thread about highrises, which don't have..." would seem like flooding the boards on purpose and seems a bit like the act of a person who's rather disgrundtled 0_o

I do like all the projects you posted though (bar the Helsingør-motorvej one, perhaps), and don't mind the least hearing about them even in their early stages ;)

I am just trying to be pedagogical towards those who think it is okay to create high rise threads on the basis of master plans by applying consistently the principle, which they seem to find acceptable.

Please go here if you feel like improving your skills in that area: www.psem.dk, because they're a bit lacking.

What a knowledgeable and on-topic post. Impressive.

Well, as knilaus has kicked off this thread, here is the latest - off the master planning model - picture of the project. This is where we stand as we speak:

I have previously given an update of the project:

Closing this one, until such time as there are specific proposals. Go to this thread (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=415393) in the mean time.
