Emaar launches majestic “M” Burj Dubai residences in Downtown Burj Dubai

• Modern towers designed by internationally renowned architects
• Perfect homes for connoisseurs and trend-setters
• Sale begins on May 3 on first-come, first-serve basis
• Shopping plaza, roof garden and fitness & leisure facilities

Majestic and modern, “M” Burj Dubai is the latest addition of trendy homes launched by Emaar Properties within Downtown Burj Dubai. A truly monumental residential project comprising two towers of 50 and 22 storeys, “M” Burj Dubai redefines the home experience with exceptional design by award-winning international architects and rich amenities tailored for the trendy lifestyle of home-owners.

Emaar will open sale of studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments in “M” Burj Dubai on a first-come, first-serve basis on May 3, 2008, at the Downtown Burj Dubai Sales Centre as well as its Abu Dhabi Sales Centre. Several financial institutions are offering easy home finance solutions for the homes.

Mr Saif Al Mansoori, Sales Director, Emaar Properties, said: “Downtown Burj Dubai is today the most-sought after destination for homes in Dubai given its central location and rich spread of lifestyle amenities. “M” Burj Dubai is a sterling addition to the residential components of the project, with elegant architecture and an array of facilities including a shopping plaza within the towers, a rooftop garden and extensive health & leisure choices.”

He added: ““M” Burj Dubai defines the evolution of the residential property sector in Dubai, where demand is driven by three factors: Location, Design and Amenities. Designed by award-winning architects, “M” Burj Dubai has a stand-out value, and is in proximity to Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest building, and The Dubai Mall, one of the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destinations. Customers also enjoy the advantage of moving into an already established community with hotels, shopping choices and easy connectivity to the business nerve-centres of Dubai.”

A unique feature of “M” Burj Dubai is the grand entrance lobby with 13 metre high ceilings supported by elegantly carved columns. This overall ambience of space and light runs through the apartments, which open to panoramic views of Downtown Burj Dubai. All homes feature modern finishes and luxury fittings, and offer advanced telecom and entertainment connectivity.

Residents can easily access the shopping opportunities at The Dubai Mall, which is scheduled to open shortly, and also enjoy the retailing options at Souk Al Bahar, a shopping mall inspired by Arabesque architectural elements already open. Several hotels, including Al Manzil, Qamardeen and The Palace, The Old Town, which are functioning now, will offer varied food & beverage options.

Potential customers can visit the Downtown Burj Dubai Sales Centre and Abu Dhabi Sales Centre on May 3 from 9am to 6pm. They can call toll-free 800-EMAAR (800-36227) or log on to www.emaar.com for more details.

Downtown Burj Dubai, the mega flagship project of Emaar, is the new centre of the city, and consistently gains overwhelming customer response to various residential and commercial project launches.

^^

I,myself, have spoken to two different Emaar sales ppl and they CONFIRM Burj Place has been cancelled. People who had booked and paid 5% or 10% , have been offered to downgrade to other units in Downtown at Emaar's current prices. They are not offering any refunds of deposits.
M Burj has also been cancelled.

Hi Vlad11,

I think you should call the Emaar or send them and email , ask about the cancellation , thats true or not and what about the money what you have already paid ?

Hi Vlad11,

Emaar are absolutely not refunding any deposits even though if the project is being cancelled or put of hold. The only option available is to downgrade to other buildings in downtown at Emaar's current prices. There is not much anyone can do about this.
The thing I hate about Emaar is that you are not allowed to meet the person making the decisions, you have to go through dumb customer service representatives who don't give a shit about your money. They have absolutely no authority and are just there to present a smiley face. Even for a small thing, they ask you to write a request which they will forward to the top management for decision making. I don't know why the top management doesn't understand that they need to meet the investors and their customers directly.

if you paid 20-30 % how can you buy a ready apartment of South Ridge or Burj Views?

dlnash

if you paid 20-30 % how can you buy a ready apartment of South Ridge or Burj Views?

For example: if you have booked a 1 bedroom apt in M Burj for AED 4 million, and have paid 20% of this i.e. 800,000.
This amount will be adjusted in for example, payment for 1 bedroom in Southridge which is currently selling at AED 3.2 million.
That means you would have paid : 800,000/3.2 million = 25% of this property and would be required to make the balance payment as per the payment plan for SouthRidge.

sorry to interrupt but for example south ridge is a completed project and payment plan is finished... will they offer a new payment plan or the rest should be paid in cash !?

Transfer to completed projects allowed but the price is more than the current market price. (ie prices that prevailed during the peak of the boom)

When I checked with Emaar, they said that it is on hold and people who have bought have to transfer to some other project in DBD. What's happening with your unit?
