Well couldn't find any photos, but something I found in The TOI

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Cities/14_floors_of_building_under_construction_collapse/articleshow/3634380.cms

BANGALORE: Tower ‘C' of Prestige Shantiniketan, a township project on a 105-acre campus in Whitefield, came down crashing on Thursday evening. All
the 14 floors of a portion of the tower collapsed. Four workers were injured.

Around 4.20 pm, one corner of the roof started to give in. Six floors of the block crashed suubsequently; the entire portion collapsed within the next half hour.

About 60 workers working on the rooftop, removing the centring structure, ran to safety when the crash occurred.

Fire force joint director B G Chengappa, who visited the spot, said the exact reason for the crash had to be ascertained by structural engineers.

Prestige Group chairman Irfan Razack said there were no casualties, nor was any worker injured. IJM, a Malaysian infrastructure company, were the contractors for the project. Asked about the cause of the crash, he said: "We believe a concrete slab that was being laid fell, and that then had a cascading effect. While I don't think there's any structural problem, we will evaluate all possibilities that could have led to this."

The fire force could not launch a full-fledged rescue operation for two and a half hours because of the gradual collapse.

Even after all the 14 floors had crashed, raising a cloud of cement, rescue could not begin because of reduced visibility. Light evening showers further delayed the process. Later, the fire force abandoned the operation following assurances from the promoters that there were no workers in the building at the time of the crash.

A project officer from the Prestige Group informed the police that one person was missing. Four workers who were at the bottom of the tower sustained injuries. They were taken to Vaidehi Hospital.

Four injured as Prestige group’s 15-storeyed structure collapses
BANGALORE: Four persons were injured and another 100 construction workers had a providential escape when a part of a 15-storeyed concrete structure under construction of the Prestige group crashed at Whitefield here on Thursday.

The block which collapsed is part of the 20 blocks under construction by Prestige in a joint venture with Shantiniketan. The top floor slab which collapsed first was laid only a few days ago.

The police told The Hindu that the accident occurred around 5 p.m. when a small portion of the top floor collapsed resulting in the slab of the floor below it collapsing in a short while. Owing to sheer weight, the slabs of the lower floors collapsed subsequently, all in a span of 50 minutes, although the embedded steel rods prevented the slabs from falling in a heap...

All still hazy at Prestige building-collapse site
Two employees of construction firm arrested
BANGALORE: Work on tracking down whether any construction worker is trapped or was killed when a part of the 15-storeyed Prestige Shanthiniketan building under construction at Whitefield collapsed here on Thursday is yet to get under way.

Director-General and Inspector-General of Police R. Sri Kumar, who has been closely monitoring the developments, told The Hindu that “as of now there appears to be no death or even any person missing. We have videographed the entire structure and this should throw some light on whether any person has been trapped or killed. A full-fledged investigation is on.” ...

Arrested: The Kadugodi police acting on a complaint of the jurisdictional executive engineer of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (Mahadevapura Sub-Division), arrested Ravi Hoskoti, vice-president and in-charge of the project, and Nanda Kishore, commercial project in-charge. Both are employees of the Malaysian construction company, IJM...

The inaugural marks the completion of the Residential and Commercial blocks of this landmark project in the city. Built in strict international specifications, this fully integrated and ultra modern township features a huge residential complex consisting of 3002 apartments, a high end shopping mall, a five screen multiplex, a convention centre, a five star hotel and a club house with all possible amenities. The cityscape has been designed in a manner that provides residents the peace and tranquility of a home in the countryside, combined with all the energy and amenities of a bustling city. D. K. Audikesavulu, Managing Director, Chaitanya Properties Pvt. Ltd. along with Irfan Razack, CMD Prestige Group, Arvind Limbavali, B.C. Prasad, V. Shashikanth and a host of dignitaries attended the function.

Irfan Razack, CMD - Prestige Group said, “In the past few years, Bangalore has witnessed rapid growth at an unprecedented rate. However, the growth has been concentrated around certain areas leading to congestion and uneven infrastructural development. The need of the hour is for integrated and self-sufficient townships that will help the city expand in a uniform manner and simultaneously aid the cosmopolitan lifestyle of Bangalore. We have tried to deliver just that signature lifestyle through Prestige Shantiniketan. And the new brand new township is conveniently located in Whitefield, not too far away from the heart of the city.”

"The inauguration of the Residential and Commercial sections of Prestige Shantiniketan is a very special moment for us as with this development, we have been able to gift Bangalore its first integrated township.” he added.

Highlights of Prestige Shantiniketan:

Located in Whitefield and spread over 105 acres of land, this residential precinct, ‘Soul Space’, is placed away from the business precinct - the Commercial Crescent. Separate entrances have been created that ensure easy access to the retail conveniences, at the same time maintaining the privacy of the residential section. The cityscape will feature 3002 apartments of two, three and four bedrooms each in 24 high rise towers.

The 67 acres residential precinct will include a 4.56 acre park. The Central Park is positioned pretty much on the lines of New York’s Central Park. The landscaping, being done by an artist from Singapore, is expected to be a work of art. The residents of Shantiniketan will be provided with various means of entertainment- the complex will house everything from badminton and squash courts, a tennis court, a table tennis room, health club and sauna, to a party hall, pool table, lounge library, ATM, a coffee shop, a jogging track and a children’s play area.

The Global Lounge is right next to the Commercial Crescent. The complex will feature a brand new Forum Mall, a posh multiplex with five screens and a world class convention centre. The lounge is designed to set standards in retail, entertainment and leisure spaces.

Integrated township for city

Prestige Shantiniketan, an integrated township, was inaugurated in Whitefield recently.

The inaugural marks the completion of the residential and commercial blocks of this project. This integrated and ultra modern township features a huge residential complex consisting of 3002 apartments, a high-end shopping mall, a five screen multiplex, a convention centre, a five star hotel and a club house.

Speaking on the occasion, Irfan Razack, CMD, Prestige Group said, “In the past few years, Bangalore has witnessed rapid growth at an unprecedented rate. However, the growth has been concentrated around certain areas leading to congestion and uneven infrastructural development. The need of the hour is for integrated and self-sufficient townships that will help the city expand in a uniform manner and simultaneously aid the cosmopolitan lifestyle of Bangalore.”

Spread over 105 acres of land, this cityscape has been constructed in association with Chaitanya Properties Pvt. Ltd.

The residential precinct, ‘Soul Space’, is placed away from the business precinct, the Commercial Crescent. Separate entrances have been created that ensure easy access to retail conveniences, at the same time maintaining the privacy of the residential section. The cityscape will feature 3002 apartments of two, three and four bedrooms each in 24 high rise towers. It will have a continuous supply of drinking water, 100% power back-up and high speed elevators.

The 67-acre residential precinct will include a 4.56-acre park. The Central Park is positioned pretty much on the lines of New York’s Central Park. The landscaping is being done by an artiste from Singapore. The Shantiniketan complex will house badminton and squash courts, tennis court, table tennis room, health club and sauna, party hall, pool table, lounge library, ATM, coffee shop, jogging track and children’s play area.

The Global Lounge is right next to the Commercial Crescent. The complex will feature a brand new Forum Mall, a multiplex with five screens and a world class convention centre. The lounge is designed to set standards in retail, entertainment and leisure spaces.

The two signature franchise towers consist of 16 levels each, reaffirm Bangalore’s status as one of the foremost economic hubs of the country. The crescent stands 12 levels tall and combined with another 16 level Signature tower, the commercial precinct offers a mind-boggling 3.6 million plus sq. ft. of office and commercial space.

The cityscape is to feature an internationally acclaimed five star hotel which is known for its fine cuisine and elegant interiors, and for setting world class standards in hospitality. It is positioned as an integral part of the cityscape.

Sonus's continued success in the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Indian telecommunications markets is the impetus behind the upgrade. Located in a brand new, state-of-the art technology building, Sonus's more than 77,000 square-foot Bangalore facility is located in the heart of the city's IT hub. With 7000 square feet of sophisticated lab space, it will house the company's growing employee base in India, which currently stands at nearly 490 employees. The Bangalore team will continue to focus primarily on software development and testing as well as systems engineering and customer support.

"We are leveraging our operations in India to support growth in three of the world's most rapidly growing areas," said Ray Dolan, president and CEO of Sonus Networks. "Telecommunications and the IT sector are major drivers of the Indian economy and the country's highly educated talent pool allows us to grow as needed to meet those market demands. As service providers across the region build out their networks to support increasing demands from new subscribers, Sonus is well equipped and positioned to help them."

According to industry research, India is among the fastest-growing markets in the telecom sector, adding 16 to 18 million subscribers every month. It currently has a subscriber base of over 800 million people and has the world's second-largest mobile network with over 670 million wireless subscribers. Sonus counts two of the country's top carriers among its customer base, and has recently ramped up sales and sales engineering presence in the country.

The company's Bangalore facility will showcase Sonus's leading voice and data infrastructure solutions, including session border controllers, media gateways, softswitches, and voice security products for service providers and large enterprises. Sonus's infrastructure solutions allow efficient and reliable delivery of voice and multimedia sessions over IP networks while enabling customers to manage the flows of sessions in their networks using business policies.

"This is a significant milestone for our Bangalore operations," said Vijaykumar Bhat, facility manager at Sonus Networks Bangalore. "The new facility will unite our current staff and ensure that Sonus is well-positioned for ongoing growth and success in the region."

The building is located in the heart of Bangalore's IT hub at: Prestige Shantiniketan, Crescent 4, Whitefield, ITPL Road, Bangalore, India
