I thought this would be a good idea to help us create banners for the forum. It is aimed to concentrate our know how on the matter and make it easier to do.
I still don't quite know how to do it but this is what I have so far.

How can I send in my banner
The top banner of the forums rotates daily. If you want to send in a banner, make sure it is 719 x 123 pixels in size, 72 dpi and no text (and for those who don't read: and no text) in the banner. PM it to me (username: Jan) or send me an email

I've scaled it down to 719 x 123 in size, and so unfortunately you don't really get the same effect. But i guess it's still pretty kewl..

Stunning, I think the next banner should consist of the design of Stadiums. We can use FNB Stadium, Green Point, MM and PE. What do you think guys.

But its too hazy, & that pole at the end does'nt help. The Vic Wharf one is stunning.

I like the night shots on those Durban pics. The day shots show off the highrises more but the pics could be clearer. More than a year ago someone (cant remember who) did an amazing Durban collage of current developments - that had an amazing cityscape shot - make that into a banner ;)

The beachfront at night at the top of that collage would make a nice banner.

Is that Jozy?

its ok, but not that bright enuf I think, dno about you guys but I think I our next banner should be a collage with 4 or 5 of our stadiums that are underconstruction, choose an appropriate day to have it up interms of the count down & ask Jan to put there on the banner "500 days (or what ever) & counting till 2010"

Made a banner, but with the new banner size it was difficult to fit all the stadiums in it. Maybe someone with a better photoshop experience can redo one, but the banner size is really mingy......unless my high resolution on my screen makes it look that way?
