My signature was removed and it now says to follow SSC signature rules. What are these rules? Has this happened to any of you?

Maybe reading the message on the top of the forum page will help



GUIDELINES:


• Signature lines may be up to 5 lines of default sized (vB size 2) text , spaces included. (at 1024x768 resolution, default IE or Firefox font)

• No text over size 3 is allowed, even if your sigline uses only one line.

• Signature lines should not have nationalistic, combative, racist or any other kind of commentary which may offend others.

• Signature lines are not permitted to include embedded coding (except that for web links and visually manipulating text), attachments, links which trigger a download or any other kind of disruptive or invasive action to either SSC's of our users' property.

• Posting Youtube videos into signatures is not allowed.

• Members are not permitted to quote other members in their signatures for any reason.

• As always, SSC staff reserves the right to moderate for reasons not specifically mentioned here. You are here at our permission. We may revoke that permission at any time for any reason, or even no reason at all.



Remember, many different people from many different cultures are present here together. Please be respectful of your fellow members, as it is this cooperation among so many that allows Skyscrapercity to thrive.

Was it a "Welfe" signature?

I don't see how my signature was not following those rules.

This was my signature (it may not be exactly like this):

I don't know if you go to other forums, but in some cases 3/4 of a thread page is just for signatures: photos, long texts, etc.

I personally don't mind up to 6.5 lines, to accommodate spaces and font sizes

But I usually warn people first, unless if it's really long

Considering that the rules are now even more apparent, please fix your signatures accordingly or they will be removed from now on.

I didn't know I were breaking the rules. I'll delete my signature then.
