Zonc, it's really great to see I can understand Polish with no need of a dictionary. Actually back 3-4 years ago when I was passing through Poland it was amazing how close our languages are and still we use different alphabets. Anyway was surprised to see that Polish is even closer to Bulgarian than Czech!

август 2009 Искам да направя резервация за два самолетни билета до София. Има много пакетните туристически обиколки от Созопол. :(

( Свещарската гробница, Стара Загора, Плoвдив, Мадарски конник, Ивановски скални църкви, Рилски манастир. )

Ivanovo rock churches/Sveshtari tomb and the Rila Monastery are about 300-400km away from Sozopol. You'd be traveling all day to reach them and then back :ohno:

since the introduction of christianity in Bulgaria we had our lithurgies in Church Slavonic and many words were of Greek influence and slavic languages as well. that's how old Bulgarian got obsolete and eventually forgotten. church Slavonic is very powerful language and I wish we could popularize it among the slavic nations in a manner like Latin in the world because then we would be able to speak freely in our own root language. that'd be fun

Bulgaria is cheap for the Pole. For example:

cheese (sheep ;) ) - 5 euro
ceramic mug - 2 euro
wine - five times cheaper than in Poland

fortunately we are still cheap. I remember in Prague 3 years ago it was cheaper than in Bulgaria and Serbia had a little higher prices than us. duuno what's the situation nowadays. I bet Warsaw has more western standards in pricing ;) as for Bratislava I'm sure their prices are high as a kite.

Yeah, prices are going up as well as the salaries. Unfortunately you can't rely on official stats concerning both of them.

Датировката е от V-VІв. По това време Созопол има най-голямото пристанище за износ на зърно. Сигурността на града се гарантира и след като в началото на VІв. е изградена втора крепостна стена “протейхизма” в южната част на полуострова, за да възпрепятства достъпа до града по суша. Созопол става военен и стратегически център на Южното Черноморие, което напълно гарантира сигурността при търговски отношения, развиващи се в границите му.

Зърнохранилището е с оригинални размери 22м. дължина, 14 м. ширина и 2,5м. височина, от които само част е достъпна за разглеждане. С внушителните си размери, то е най-голямата сграда, открита при археологически разкопки в Созопол. Именно в това помещение, ако претендирате за хубав глас може да попеете. Би било чудесно, ако претенциите Ви имат пълно покритие...

КРЕПОСТНА СТЕНА И СТРАЖЕВА КУЛА

Началото на ІV в. е повратен за Рим. След борба за трона, Константин се обявява за император, установява властта си, приема християнството и го налага като официална религия.

Аполония се възстановява под новото име Созополис /град на спасението/. Близостта до Константинопол налага укрепяването му в съответствие с тогавашното военно строителство. В края на ІV и началото на Vв. по бреговата му линия е издигната крепостна стена, в чиито ъгли и по-достъпни места за допълнително укрепяване се построяват кули. Въпреки това, следващите деситилетия са белязани от хунски нашествия, след които стената е допълнително укрепена.

През втората четвърт на V в., по време на император Теодосий ІІ, укрепяването е напълно възстановено чак до похода на граф Амадей V Савойски през 1366 и 1367 година срещу българските черноморски пристанища. Градът е ограбен, а стените – тежко разрушени и повече не се възстановяват.

Отделните елементи са така конструирани, че съчленени с оловни пръстени не допускат водата да има досег с тежкия метал. Както е известно, в древния Рим масово са се използвали оловни прибори за хранене, които са причинители на тежки увреждания на здравето.

Вървейки из музейния комплекс, може да разгледате също много вещи от бита в миналото - амфори, питоси и др.

I know "the old bulgarian coast" year 1988 before, when I ussually slept in famous hotel chain "Under the tree" :-),from Kamchija to Achtopol, but I enjoyed super prices of drinks, like Mastika,Sljancev Brjag, Mentovka, Crveno vino for 1 old leva with bottle ...:-)) Now I am older than brown coal:-) so I will be at 5star hotel in Primorsko like a stupid western turists :-) and I booked Hotel Morski Brjag in Golden Sands also, because 10 days is too little for your splendid country and like a romantic I will travel with my car, maybe it not will be stealed :-().

Otherwise I don't think you should be worried about your car, just make sure you park in well-lit places. (kidding)

In our country there is also too much thefts of cars , so I know it..(except parking near small beach hotel in Sljancev Brjag, where are so much constructions nearby. I will write with owner of this hotel to reccomend me some solution..
I am sure it will be a nice trip (Romania is chalenge:-) and I am sure, that I and my girl friend will have got a nice holliday in your country, because the most important are people with who we like speak and I am sure that bulgarian people are still very pleasant and merry like before..

Поморие също в известна степен, но е опожараван няколко пъти, включително и през 1906 г. Изгарят гръцките махали. Други биха могли да бъдат Козяк и Емона, но при различни обстоятелства.

Nope, only figs as far as I know.

There are some in private yards but not for cultivation. You can see 3-4 old trees in the old town of Sozopol for example.

Не е лошо да се строят хубави и модерни хотели.Някак си предават на курорта по-съвременен изглед,но наистина строенето буквално на пясъка не е добре,но пак е по-приемливо,в Кушадасъ(например) част от плажната ивица е бетонирана :Х.

измекяри...после защо няма българи и като кучета обикаляме къде е по ефтино....

Преди няколко дни се върнаха приятели от Созопол, цените там са като в София. Да, винаги ще намериш кафе за 8 лева, но масово няма големи разлики.

Тази година бях на седем дни на плажа.Надявам се, че следващата година ще стигнем до България.Чувствахме се перфектно!
