To the canal the long-awaited Premiumtower have been presented. With 140 meters it becomes the highest residential tower of Belgium.
The project comes to the Willebroekkaai in an area of one and a half hectare and includes beside houses in low-rise (260 houses) and layer construction (115 houses) also offices (30,000 square meters), shops and hotel and catering industry matter (1,600 square meters). The quoted on the stock exchange "real estate company Atenor" emphasises that it is therefore a varied destination.

There 600 people live and 2,500 people work in the new project. Also the surroundings to the foot of tower with particular attention it will be arranged.
It was look out to the design. Atenor had promised something particular. The promoter took for this the architects Yves Lion (Paris) and Michel Verliefden (Brussels) under the arm. It slim playful towers has become, with a smattering retrolook.

According to Atenor-baas Stéphan Sonneville become certainly it no luxury appartments, but houses with a certain comfort. In the building there is also a swimming pool, movie theater room and wellnescentrum foresee. There is attention also much to sustainable development: cogeneratie, rain water recycling and an air conditioning using water from the canal.

The end of construction for the apartments is sheduled in February 2013. Two years rather the office buildings there already must stand. The demolition of the old Delhaizegebouwen on the site starts in the autumn of this year. construction licenses are there not yet, but the city Brussels has explained himself already fundamental agreement to previous year with the construction of woontoren to the canal.

Nice tower. I like the lowrises also; big balconies at the water side :okay: From street side boring though.

Finally Brussels is going for residential towers again! This one will be the tallest residential tower in Belgium.

It looks like a decent residential tower - I like all the balconies.

The lower parts looks a bit boring though.

Ik post deze foto hier omdat we hier in de toekomst de premium toren zullen zien verrijzen. (helemaal op het einde van het dok, waar de kraan staat) Ik zal dan regelmatig vanaf deze plaats een foto gaan nemen, zodat we een filmke kunnen maken van de voortgang der werken! :)

Interesting method of construction. This tower seems to grow at a different rate at each corner. :|

^The floors go up equally. From watching the renders the corners at left and right end right there..

Saw her repeatedly popping through the 'cluster' at Brussels North train station when entering, I'm in love with this tower :)

La tour est asser belle globalement , mais je trouve que le recouvrement de facade fait vraiment cheap ! C'est surtout flagrant sur les petits imeubles de bureaux a cotés, enfin j'attend de voir le resultat final .

^^ I have to agree with that french statement about the facade. It is rather dull, despite the use of natural stone.

Ik weet het niet zeker eigenlijk. Ik heb het gevoel dat de afwerking aan de top stilletjes aan begint te veranderen (zie hieronder). Dat zou dus kunnen wijzen op het uitkijkplatform inderdaad. In ieder geval zullen er niet veel verdiepingen meer bij komen. Maximum 3 (maar ik denk het niet). Ik heb het tellen ook opgegeven btw ;)
