I saw some ads offering 1 B/R apartments with 5% premium and Original Prices starting from 6.71 Million to 7.03 Million :nuts::nuts::nuts:

I don't think the burj view justifies such prices..

Gosh! Wonder what later releases will be priced at? Realistically, what does this mean for other properties in the Burj area, both completed and under consturction; are they all going to dramatically increase in price too?

Agreed....Emaar has launched 4 projects in DBD in June alone plus 2 other projects (Al Awir Rd & Bawadi)....

Is this one really going ahead? AED 7-9M for a 1 BR apartment and they are still going ahead with this one in this climate? I'd really doubt that.

I was at the Nakheel office earlier today and met with an investor who had invested in Standpoint residences. Apparently, he was informed that despite almost 6 floors being constructed, Standpoint residences might be temporarily put on hold. Does this make sense?

If they stop, they will have to refund the payment. If they carry on and investors default (for sure) then it is not their fault!!!

Absolutely correct !! Emaar are thieves.. constructing Mansion as its overpriced so as to maintain max margins. I doubt anyone is gonna pay further for this project though as the price was so high. Isnt it true that they have dropped prices for standpoint by 25%. Shouldnt they be implementing the same price decrease to atleast 2.5k/sqft for the Mansion tower as well ?

I think they are planning to forfeit the money on this one. I heard new law is coming that would allow developers to forfeit money if construction has started.
