this is sendang...small water fell down from the ceiling ...a lot of sendang there... they have their own name...but unfortunately i forgot their name!!!
i'm apologize..
it is believed that those sendang have "mystical use" like long life, charisma, wealth, health and another positive aura...

please go there and ask what is the sendang name :cheers:....

With a better promotion this wonderful cave should attract much more international tourists... sayang pengelola pariwisata Indonesia, gmana ni?:nuts:

For comparison :
Mulu and Niah caves in Sarawak, Malaysia (widely and seriously promoted in their brochures as the biggest cave's structure in the world). Anyway Sarawak govt.'s promotions successfully attract millions of tourists worldwide to visit those caves... padahal gua pernah kesana, biasa aja tuh.. :ohno:keindahannya gak ada apa2nya dibanding Gua Gong

Asal-usul Goa Gong:

“Alkisah waktu itu, Dusun Pule mengalami kemarau yang panjang, sehingga sulit untuk mencari air minum dan air untuk berbagai keperluan sehari-hari. Maka Mbah Noyo Semito dan Mbah Joyo mencoba mencari air ke dalam gua yang dianggapnya terlalu jauh dari rumah penduduk kurang lebih 400 meter. Dengan menggunakan alat penerangan tradisional berupa obor (daun kelapa kering yang diikat) hingga menghabiskan tujuh ikat, kedua kakek tersebut berhasil menelusuri lorong-lorong gua hingga menemukan beberapa sendang dan mandi di dalamnya. Peristiwa tersebut terhitung 65 tahun yang lalu yang dihitung mundur dari tahun 1995.
Atas penemuan tersebut, pencarian berikutnya pun dilakukan, tepatnya pada hari Minggu Pon tanggal 5 Maret 1995, berangkatlah sejumlah rombongan yang berjumlah delapan orang untuk mengeksplore lebih jauh tentang keberadaan gua tersebut. Singkat cerita akhirnya rombongan tersebut berhasil menyusuri gua yang keindahannya bisa dirasakan sampai sekarang”.

Ruang pertama, yaitu ruang Sendang Bidadari. Dalam ruangan ini terdapat sendang kecil dengan air yang dingin dan bersih. Di sebelahnya adalah ruang Bidadari, dimana menurut cerita diruangan kadang melintas bayangan seorang wanita yang cantik.

Ruang tiga dan empat adalah ruang kristal dan marmer, dimana dalam ruangan tersebut tersimpan batu kristal dan marmer di sisi-sisi atas dan samping gua dengan kualitas yang hampir sempurna. Memasuki ruang lima, adalah ruangan yang sedikit lapang. Di tempat ini pernah dijadikan konser musik empat negara, yaitu; Indonesia, Swiss, Inggris dan Perancis dalam kerangka mempromosikan keberadaan Gua Gong ke mancanegara.Ruang enam adalah ruang pertapaan dan terakhir ruang tujuh adalah batu gong. Adalah batu-batu yang apabila kita tabuh akan mengeluarkan suara seperti gong.
