With the ridiculous number of developments in Cape Town we should rather group developments rather than flood the projects section.

The rejuvenation and revitalisation of Sea Point in Cape Town has been given further impetus with the development of The Equinox, the area's first AAA grade commercial development which is situated at 154 Main Road on the site of the former Medical Square.
Comprising over 6000sqm of gross lettable area, this prestigious, upmarket six storey building comprises mainly prime office accommodation with retail space on the ground floor. In addition, 250sqm of penthouse space for luxury office accommodation is planned for the top floor, while a total of 74 secure parking bays are situated on the ground, first and second floors.
Selwyn Sharon, leasing, sales and investment consultant for Pam Golding Commercial, says almost all the retail space was let prior to the marketing of the building, while the commercial office space has just become available to let at rentals starting from R120 per square metre with a generous tenant installation allowance of R1040 per sqm.

He adds that the prestigious accommodation would be well suited to Gauteng businesses wishing to open a Cape Town office, and ideal for a variety of uses, for example multi-nationals, professional firms, marketing consultants, advertising agencies, IT businesses and fashion designers.
The developers, Berman Brothers, have over the years demonstrated their confidence in the Sea Point area, being extremely active in the property development market. Among various projects they have been in involved in are The Regent, also in Main Road, where their offices are situated, and the Standard Bank Building on the corner of St John's Avenue and Main Road, where they refurbished the commercial component and created a vertical residential extension known as 'Ocean Breeze'.
"It is very rewarding to see Sea Point now coming alive with a vibrancy not seen for many years," says CEO Paul Berman, who is on the City Improvement District board which has helped revitalise Sea Point Main Road area with 24 hour security as well as private cleaning and facilities over and above those provided by the council. Oriental project launched in CT
A new property development inspired by Eastern architecture and designed to incorporate the principles of Feng Shui has been launched in the Upper Sea Point area in Cape Town.
Construction on this luxury development – called The Balinrobe – is now in full swing, with the completion date set for May/June 2009.
Ten of the seventeen apartments have been snapped up by both local and foreign buyers.
The Beyond Group says Upper Sea Point has been identified as a key growth point in the Western Cape property market, with property values in the area appreciating significantly over a relatively short period.
The area is located between Camp's Bay, Bantry Bay and the V&A Waterfront and is a five minute drive from the CBD.
Units are priced between R1,35m and R4,5m and range from one-bedroom bachelor units to double story two-bedroom apartments and penthouses. Every apartment in the development has a splash pool.
