i know the tower isn't fully finished yet, but it is very short before that...enough to vote i think. and it is a lots of work to change all the titles again in a few weeks :). I'll change the pics when it is fully completed

The spire is not very New York. The base looks fine though. I give it a 7.5 because it doesn't really add something valueable to the NY skyline imo.

the design for the base and the middle is okay...quite nice...has creativity on it...but as soon as i like to the top..oh my god...!!! spire again...

i dun mind a short one..but this spire is so long as well...like the New York Times Building...spire doesnt fit into New York...everybody says that...not nice...

Huge glass panel falls 50 storeys in NY

A 680kg glass panel being installed on a skyscraper has fallen more than 50 storeys onto a New York pavement and shattered, injuring two people.

The 1.5-metre by 4-metre panel was being attached to the 51st-floor facade of a Bank of America tower under construction in midtown Manhattan across from Bryant Park, contractor Tishman Construction Corp said.

Passers-by ran toward the park when the glass shattered, raining pieces onto the sidewalk next to the 54-story office tower, which is occupied below the 29th floor. A block of Sixth Avenue was closed for hours while the shards were cleaned up.

Two men were hospitalised with minor injuries.

The city Department of Buildings stopped work on the facade and cited Tishman for failing to safeguard the public and property, failing to maintain vertical netting and not having a second exit route on the building's top three floors.

7.5/10... BTW I don't think this building is 366 m high, compared to NY Times Tower it's shorter, maybe if you count in this ugly and unnecessary antenna which IMO downgrades the whole image of the building. Here is one pic of mine taken in August...

How can people give this tower 3 or 4 points out of 10? The only reason has got to be that they are just haters.
Ill rate it 8.5/10, it fits perfect, climate-friendly and I like the shape of it too.

That's because they've got nothing to do.

I like the tower, though, as many have said, hate the antena. Taller would but with the same thickness would have looked loads better. 7.5/10.

Unique architecture, a little touch of "classicness" in it too.

Like others, hate the spire/antenna. It sounded a bit scary to me when it said "366m, 54fl". When I realised that theres a spire, so not NY style.

but nonetheless, its still a nice tower, I give it a 9.

You know, I like spires, but only those with a sence of propotion in their design. 54 floors and 366m, a supertall? WTF? I' going to but a 367m spire on the roof of my house and surpass it in height.....:ohno:

Not one of my favorites. I certainly respect the mass and height, but I just don't like the design that much. Cladding is okay. The shape is better than a box, but not great. I don't like the spire, which like others have said, seems like cheating to get some extra height. Kudos for the environmental features which make it ecologically friendly though.
