Uplace Machelen is of design Benoy:, an internationally renowned architectural firm with offices in London and Newark (UK), Hong Kong, Shanghai and Abu Dhabi (www.benoy.com). Architecture which refers to the rich industrial past of the region with a strong emphasis on local authenticity. `City in the stad' feeling are created by the different neighborhoods, squares, streets and open spaces with an offer for several target groups. Lots of attention goes to environment-friendly building and green management.



The provided start date for the construction of the project end 2010 with opening has been planned end 2012.

Real estate developer plans megaproject of 600 million Euro.

Uplace, which themselves the first lifestyle call company in real estates, plant an ambitious construction project on an old industrial site. The Belgian company wants build megacomplex there, with offices, shops and hotel and catering industry matter. It goes for an investment of such a 600 millions euro. There would be created more than 3000 jobs. Financing is this way well such as around, it is only guards on the definite construction license. Just like at the new stadion of club Brugge for which the same Uplace act as a project developer.
