Hey all, I participated for the first time in Critical Mass on Friday evening (June 27th). It was a lot of fun and made for some great exercise as well. It was an excellent way to spend a beautiful summer evening. Unfortunately, some of my pics are a bit blurry since I was on the move while taking them so I apologize in advance.

Not too sure. We split off before it ended (whenever that was). We followed it from the start until the group started going down Davie Street just after Stanley Park. I think up to Davie it took about 2 hours, perhaps 2 1/2. I actually took my watch off during the ride so I wouldn't get a watch tan line. :lol: I know, I'm so vain! :tongue2:

Absolutely fantastic photos, Raggedy13. I just spent a week in Vancouver for work and already I miss it...what a beautiful and vibrant place...luckily I live in BC now so I can visit often!

Are there a lot of daily cyclists in the canadian cities anyway?

I don't think that Vancouver is as vibrant as Toronto or Montreal. When I was there it seemed a bit tame.

I am liking Vancouver more and more. Those 3 awful highrises in the 5th to last pic in the West End should be torn down, they make my skin crawl. Which architect is responsible for designing them? Is he incarcerated or in hell?

Anyway the nature in and around Vancouver is as gorgeous as it gets. Too bad the architects from the 50s and 60s couldn't find a way to harmonize with nature.

Ok enough of my negativity. Vancouver on a sunny day on a bike.....Almost as good as sex.
