Ancora Kahramanmaraş
Kahramanmaraş is a city in the mid-south part of Turkey, 250 km northeast of Adana. The city has a population of 371,500 inhabitants (2007 census). It is the capital city of the Kahramanmaraş Province.
The city is strategically located on the highway and railway junctions, connecting the north and the south part of Turkey, so therefore playing an important role in the trade and commercial activities of the region. Kahramanmaraş has a very diversified industrial sector and is one of the biggest textile industry cities in Turkey.
Location
The site, the former Kahramanmaraş bus terminal, is perfectly located at the main entrance to the city center and at the most imprant cross road in the city. The site is very easy accessible by car and public transport and enjoys good visibility. The total Kahramanmaraş population can reach the site within 15 minutes drive.
Project Overview
The three-level shopping center with over 55,000 m2 leasable area, will be built in two phases. The first phase of app. 45,000 m2 will accommodate around 130 top-quality stores, including a major hypermarket, a Do-it-Yourself, an electronic store and strong leisure facilities. Additionally another 10,000 m2 will be added in the second phase. The shopping center will have an underground parking with more than 1,600 parking spaces. The project will be the first and the biggest modern shopping center in town and a commercial and social attraction to the Kahramanmaraş region.
