On http://www.walter-schossig.de/Deutsch/Geschichte_der_Energieversorgu/Geschi2008_www.pdf you can find a picture of the 1150 kV-powerline Ekibastusz-Kokshetau, the powerline with the highest transmission voltage in the world. Is the picture you can find there on page 12 really a picture of this powerline? If you have pictures of the 1150 kV-powerline Ekibastusz-Kokshetau, than post them please.

Not to be rude, but why does what some powerline between Kokshetau and Ekibastuz look like matter?

yes it's exactly that powerline on the picture, each support is from 45 to 75 meters high. But it's not the highest, powerline Ekibastuz-Barnaul is sometimes up to 100 meters high.

@Evertraveller: I search since a long time of pictures of the pylons of the 1150 kV powerline and it was the first I found
@Major Deegan: a powerline for 1150 kV must have huge insulators for the conductors. There are many types of pylons possible as support. I would have not built it on guyed pylons!

OK, that explains your sudden interest quite a bit. The giant powerline, as you can imagine, doesn't have much of a tourist draw, if at all. I'll see how I can help.
