Metropolitan, designed by Sir Norman Foster is the first AAA class office building in Poland, and is located in historical area of the city, next to the Great Theater and Saxonic Garden (Ogród Saski). It was built in 2003.

There are also plans to reconstruct two palaces which were destroyed douring WWII. With Metropolitan and that reconstruction the square will soon become the most prestigious place in Warsaw.

What you cannot see is degree Metropolitan organized the whole area...Building was specificly designed to fit the space and every element in it responds to buildings nearby.

I like the square inside the building,apart from that it is nothing special outside.As you may notice,I am not a fan of Norman Foster...
