MDguy July 16th, 2008, 10:33 PM Its nice, but for some reason, at least when i saw it, it looked a bit cheap or something. Im not sure why, its still attractive though and its GREAT that Mobile got it, it really needed something and it got the tallest building in Alabama! good for them, 8/10

That design fits larger cities better. It doesn't fit the skyline, and the crown looks cheap.

Shera October 15th, 2009, 12:29 AM Voted 5 out of 10 because it just doesnt fit right in Mobile. Mobile is not a city, but a town. It has only one other tall building, which is barely 400 feet -- only few buildings are over 100 feet. It's just pathetic.
When I went over there and tried looking at it, my eyes started hurting because it was way too unattractive. The color really puts me off -- it's a new building that's the same color as most buildings of the 1930's.
Mobile is a horrible town. The 2 malls right across each other are the only malls in town, and both are uglier than any mall in Florida. Orange Beach in Alabama has more buildings than Mobile, and they are nicer to look at.
That Battle House tower would've looked nice in a city alongside other buildings similar in height, like Charlotte or Birmingham (in the middle of all the buildings in B'ham). From a distance, like when driving across the Mobile Bay, Mobile looks like as if it has only 1 lonely skyscraper in the middle of nowhere.
