The bottom is quite blocky, it seems much larger than the rest of the building, but when I went in, the floor size still seems very very small. I guess I am used to the tower having visited it quite a lot (my aunt works on the 37th floor), it grew on me.

7/10 - The top is nice, and it looks impressive at night. I also give credit for using setbacks. But the setbacks are a bit blocky, and the tower would have a better sense of height if they'd emphasized vertical instead of horizontal lines.

I hate the bulging base, it would have worked better with it rising from a slender base. 6/10

not a bad design but the base is too high and blocky and detracts from the height...the horizontal banding also gives it that stubby look as well....does look nice at night though...7.5/10

I applaud every attempt to get away from the box approach to building highrises. Here attempts were made to vary both the base and the top. Unfortunately, the two don't correlate very well. 7.

8.5 I actually quite like the big base and the blocky quality of this building... the mid-section shaft is beautiful... and it has an interesting top

Despite its height the tower isn't daunting. The color-scheme and the horizontal pattern make it friendly. Luckily the blockyness is applied in a consequent and balanced way and combines well with the color/horizontality aspect mentioned.

Everything done safely, nothing great nothing bad. Base to tower transition ok imo, and the top is not exciting, but not too bland either.

Looks better at night. Ordinary tower w/a peculiar top. Hard to tell what it's setting out to do. Doesn't help that it's the color of a dead fish.....

Very original, especially the color. Almost looks like it belongs in NYC too. I give it a 9/10. :okay:

A very bad mix of colors. The design lacks verticality, and the crown is really ugly. IMO it fails to integrate the specifics of taiwanese architecture as some other skyscrapers in Taiwan managed to do. Also, the lighting is a completely failed attempt.

This tower is kind of different at the top from the rest of the foot, it's really...oh hell, I don't like the design of this lame building. I can't stand crying, but I am :'(. This building looks bad in design, it's worse than listening to a sad love song made by William Shatner. 4/10.

Its an ok building. Very blocky. Almost like being made out of legos. Nothing flows ar curves. But I like the color choice and the top although cluttered is good too.

It is already tall for Taipei, somehow looks like the empire state building stands alone in old NYC :)
