Why would anyone laugh? It's a respectable city just like any other in the world. Besides, it doesn't look any bad.

As for the skyline, I must say there is almost none at all. SoI rate THAT with a 4.0

This city's poll is strange. 18 people rated it with a 10, and the rest are a few 3.0's, 3.5's, 4.0's and 4.5's

I can imagine the same guy going to 18 different computers to give that number of 10's to the poll. No wonder it is ahead of cities like Houston, Boston, Vancouver, Rio de Janeiro, Atlanta or Mexico City.....

He must have 18 usernames, because when you vote, in the database it's recorded the username, not the ip

Well, it is definitely not on par with many european, american and asian cities, but, well, in terms of african standard, i think it is pretty respectable. I give it a decent 4/10
