Vina is famous for is festival.

but the city is not that small, Viña del Mar has 350.000 inhabitants and even if you count valparaiso + quilpue another city next to Viña makes like 1.100.000 inhabitants.

well, i never liked vigna del mar that much, but i think is a nice city, i rather valparaiso to tell you the truth, but vigna is great too

Well, don't really have a massive skyline or a lot of high-rises. But, it is pretty nice city, nice beach, nice roads and i bet a pretty vibrant place to stay. I give it a 6.5/10

Nice and dense and the tallest is a nice one, though doesn't stand out enough. Needs to get some more talls in a central area to create a nice focal point. Overall good looking place.

Viña del Mar is quite a fantastic city, nice beaches, beautiful settings, sadly these pictures doesn't show how nice is the city.

The buildings aren't too tall but IMO they are interesting, and well located near the shore, the parks grows along the city and the casino is one of the most important places to go.

estoy reflexionando aun en la nota!

la ciudad es linda sin dudas, pero esos edificios pseudoafrancesados malogrados y en un lugar sin tradicion cultural europeizante sino mas bien estadounizante le restan mucho mucho.

otra cosa que resta es la cantidad de edificios que matan el primer faldeo de la montana matando la ladera que terminan recubriendo con cemento proyectado para evitar derrumbes.

me parece que las torres nuevas y la especulacion arruinaron la ciudad.

Viña del Mar era la ciudad de veraneo de la aristocracia de la zona central, así se fue consolidando.

BTW, the thread is about to rate the skyline, so even Viña del Mar is an extraordinary city, quite pleasent, beautiful, the skyline is not amazing. Maybe it would change in a couple of years with the new offices tower projects in Las Salinas.
