The Nana Nua Head Office is under re-facading progress., Changing from old-brown color windows to this green-tone-clad just like the oppersite building : (Note:Both Sukhumvit Tower and Krung Thai Bank Nana Head Office are both own by Krung Thai Bank.

The Re-cladding progress will finished by the beginning of 2004......and not only re-cladding is going on, The Main entrance seems to getting renovated. The new 4-storey-tall entrance hall is getting shape now, as u can see in the 2nd picture.

I hope they don't change its style too much because it has a very special look and it's one of the older high-rises in the area... also the trees they have (had?) in front would be nice to keep.

..aah well, we will see next year. In any case, it will look more modern.. that's great!

Yeah Bangkok Bank's headoffice on silom road is not a very funny building so yeah , Bangkok bank is the biggest bank in Thailand but has the ugliest and oldest office tower :D

Bangkok Bank is not only the biggest Bank in Thailand, It's also the 2nd biggest bank in South East Asia after UOB Bank from Singapore......:cool:

Right now I'd say it looks a little bleh but it will probably improve once the wrapping (or what is it, and why?) on the sides comes off ;)

The wrapping is ones to protect the facade from some couses such as ash, dust ect...otherwise it would look like as old as a year old building eventhough it just finished !! :D

I am very impress with the glass foyer and the plaza area. The architects did a really good job recladding the whole building :)

Well, it is.

i think the entrance looks really cool. but i don't like the bridge connecting it to the tower.

I'd imagine the aluminum looks great shining in the reflections of a blue sky or the nightlights, but against a uniform gray sky it will be just as dull as the sky itself.

So with better weather this little tower will sparkle I hope. We'll see soon :)

after seeing the central world plaza and tower overhead walkway, this looks really ugly.

really?, I think it looks ok.

I expected the walkway to look better once inside the glassbox, and didn't think the glassbox itself would have an open front.. or will they cover the hole later?

Anyway, I think it looks kinda good but I'm still a bit disappointed.

I wish it could be glasses along the walkway,it would make it nicer.but it's not that me from what I see.

appearently it's not done yet, but I'm not sure if they will install glasses along walk-way or not., I'm negative that they will. Talking about dissappointment, I am too but not much.

does the "pheonix" (the square glass area on the building) lights up at night? It would looks really awesome if it's light up from the inside, through the glass, of the building.

That's a good idea petey, I hope they'll make good use of it. The light would have no wall to bounce against, if you know what I mean, but I'm sure they can create a good effect with lights anyway.

I think it looks much better now, but it had some charm back then also. It stood out from the surrounding architecture. I have seen really old photos (80s something) where it seems to have been one of the first mid-high rises in the area.
