I personally would love a major facelift for the Habib Bourgiba avenue.......what do you say?

As far as your comments about the habib Bourguiba avenue keep in ind that a major facelift of the Avenue took place 4 years ago .

They extended the sidewalks to allow the cafes and restaurant to have bigger terraces and they removed an alley from the trees .

Also the city renovated several colonial building and other hotels, they rebuilt the Palmarium Mall , the Cathedral St-Vincent de Paul was renovated as well.

and the biggest facelif will come with the Med Gate . all the section of the anevue on the south of the intersection between Mohamed V aveneue and habib Bourguiba will be completely revampted.
The Med Gate towers will be built near and the area of la Petite Sicile up to Avenue d'Italie :)

I had no idea the med gate project was going to stretch so much inwards the city. Wasn´t it going to be located only on the shores of the Tunis lake?

No It also includes the area of the La Petite Sicile and the ancient dock area :)

it s good thing , these parts of the city desperatly needs a major renovation !!!
